  Flavor is OK, I tried the Chicken Enchiladas  tortilla was super tick probably I woud not order that plate again Chilaquiles were also OK, was OK breakfast..

  Upon completing our trip from Austin to El Paso, we decided to eat here. They had a great selection of lunch specials for $8.60 and it included Mexican beef soup or fish soup and the drink! I ordered one of the specials, Mexican plate #1, and my husband ordered the green chicken enchilada plate. The beef soup was yummy and the salsa had a good kick in it. The Mexican plate came with 2 ground beef tacos and 2 green enchiladas and I requested them with chicken and I paid extra for that. The taco meat was seasoned very well , I truly enjoyed the tacos! The green chicken enchiladas were sooo delicious! I loved the green sauce! They had a lot of cheese too! The rice was fluffy and delicious as well! Our teas tasted fresh! We truly had a great dining experience! Our waitress was very friendly and attentive to all our needs! I highly recommend eating here! You will not be disappointed!

  My husband and I come here when we visit family in El Paso. The waitress that helped us today was excellent. She deserves 5 stars. But, when my husband went to pay he wanted change for his $20 to tip. The lady at the counter said they do not have change.
  
  He asked again and her response was sir we don't have change. This is a busy restaurant I know most people use cards now but no one came in and paid with cash?
  
  Anyway, we know people can be difficult. We did not say anything. But, we should. We love the food and environment. Take care of people they will take care of you.

  If I could give it no stars I would.  !!!    The four of us went to La Malinche for breakfast.  It was a disaster.   Took 15 minutes to take our drink order and clean the table.   Took another 25 minutes to get 2 orders of menudo.  Then another 15 minutes later one other meal came.  Still no enchiladas after asked 3 times for out food.  We went to complain to cashier Judith who said she would take care of it.     Finally after an HOUR  I got my enchiladas montadas and the waitress said to be careful that the plate is very hot.   When I took a bite of my food the food itself was COLD.    I notified the waitress and she said to let cashier know and it would be removed from the bill.    
  On speaking with cashier , JUDITH  who was rude, condescending and asked if I'd be taking it home ( after all the complaints ).   Because she said we'd have to pay for them if we took them.   I said No.  why would I want to take it home when it was cold and waited an hour and still didn't  get to eat.    I told her I wanted it off the bill and that it was ridiculous that she would ask that question when I DIDNT EVEN EAT   I asked to speak to the manager, she said they weren't here.  I asked to speak to whoever was in charge and she said no one was.   I asked her then to speak to owner at other location and she said she couldn't do that.   And she rolled her eyes.  I stated I shouldn't have to pay for any of our meal as it was a hour wait and didn't eat at all.   What I couldn't even believe was that she wasn't the least bit apologetic about it.   She was RUDE and lazy and condescending and shouldn't be working with the public
  I WILL BE NOTIFYING THE OWNER AND LET  KNOW AS WELL.  .

  One star is correct...comida corrida took forever to get to our table not waiters fault though but hate the waiting
